The law firm of James H. Price III, PA brings a proven team approach to meeting the needs of each client. That team consists of a proven attorney, a veteran investigator, and an experienced legal assistant.
James H. "Chip" Price spent three years immediately after law school earning solid trial experience as an assistant prosecutor. Since April 1979, Mr. Price has represented defendants exclusively in every type criminal case. His experience, reputation, and integrity allow all his clients to make educated decisions concerning case options and dispositions. Mr. Price is well known for his aggressive representation of his clients and total honesty in dealing with clients, prosecutors, and judges.
An example of the quality of Mr. Price’s work is the recent South Carolina Supreme Court case of State v. Groome, 378 S.C. 615, 664 S.E. 2nd 460 (2008), in which Mr. Price tried, and won, the first police roadblock case decided by the South Carolina Supreme Court.
An important and appreciated part of Mr. Price’s success in his staff. Certified Legal Assistant Annette Cooper and Investigator Jody Black are full time employees.
