Johnny (Jody) Black has been with the Price law firm for three years. After having worked and retired from the South Carolina Highway Patrol as a State Trooper, Mr. Black possesses a vast amount of knowledge, experience and training. While employed with the highway patrol he gained extensive training in the field of basic crash reconstruction, advanced DUI detection and the use and implementation of the Datamaster Breath Testing Device used in South Carolina, and completed the Aggressive Criminal Enforcement (ACE) training for the purpose of investigating illegal drug trafficking in South Carolina.
Since working with the Price Law Firm, Mr. Black has twice successfully completed the Datamaster Breath Test Device manufacturer’s course in Mansfield, Ohio. He has become an Instructor of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. He has testified as an expert multiple times regarding the Datamaster for the defense as well as the state and continues to stay abreast of all of the latest technology, techniques and training used today by prosecutors and law enforcement.
